I just installed the latest LAN driver, version 16.4, that was just posted on 7/27/2011. Can someone else confirm if they are seeing version 16.4 under "Programs and Features"? Even though I completely removed the previous version of the LAN driver, version 16.3, when I look under "Programs and Features" it shows the latest LAN driver as version 16.3.48.0. I thought it would show 16.4? Also under Device Manager, when I go and look at the driver version properites for the network adpater, it shows the driver having a date of 5/4/2011. That seems really old for a driver that was just posted on 7/27/2011. Is this the correct driver for version 16.4?

Cooler Master HAF X - Full Tower Computer Case with USB 3.0 Ports and Windowed Side Panel (RC-942-KKN1)
Windows 8 (USB)
Windows 7 SP1 (DVD)
I'm running into some issues booting up Windows 8/7 OS installation for a clean install. I have updated the BIOS to the latest update and the BIOS boots up just fine and I can go into the setup and change things around.
Whenever I let the BIOS continue past the splash screen I get a '0_' code in the bottom right hand corner of my screen and the LED display on the motherboard says '00'.
When I go into the boot menu by pressing F10 during the splash screen and try to boot from my usb device, I get a '0' in the bottom right corner of my screen then '00' on the motherboard. The screen also keeps displaying the boot menu with all of my options, but I cannot interact with it. The same thing happens when I try to boot from my DVD drive, except I get a repeated beeping noise.

DZ77GA-70K fails to boot with Northgate Omnikey 101 keyboard attached
Hi all,
Does anyone know why the DZ77GA-70K motherboard will not boot when a Northgate Omnikey 101 keyboard is attached to the PS/2 port?
The initial "Intel Extreme" skull/splash page is displayed (with no boot option menu) and the BIOS POST code is 'E6' which I believe is "Started connecting drivers." At this point, the BIOS just hangs forever.
Interestingly, if I hook up another keyboard and boot, I can switch back to the Northgate Omnikey and it works just fine (I'm typing this message with it right now, actually )... so this would appear to be some sort of BIOS issue. Why wont the BIOS recognize my trusty old Northgate Omnikey 101? Is there a way to tell the BIOS "trust me, there's a keyboard on the PS/2 port... just boot and use it."
I flashed the latest BIOS (...2013.0129.1913) but it still wont work
Thanks!
DZ77RE-75K - voltage regulator status LEDs
I recently bought a DZ77RE-75K MB and assembled a computer.
I see that the voltage regulator status LEDs are green and cycling (all LEDs come On and one by one goes off) in a series all the time.
Is this normal?
MB: DZ77RE-75K

DH77EB Front panel USB 3 problems.
I have a strange kind of problem.
The onboard USB 3 ports on my Intel motherboard - DH77EB with i3-3220T processor - function just fine. The problem arises when I connect front panel header to add 2 more accessible USB 3 ports to my system. These don't work but even the previously working ports stop functioning. The icon in front "Intel(R) USB 3.0 eXtensible Host Controller" turns yellow with an exclamation mark on it. Widows message is that the device cannot start. Soon as I unplug the device and reboot everything goes back to normal.
BTW I am working with Win 7 x64 with all the latest updates installed. Another thing I would like to point out that when I tried installing this version of Win 7 x64 SP1 from a Zalman VE-300 external drive configured as a "USB 3.0 connected optical drive" windows threw up an error message that it did not support the source. I ot to this point of installation thgrough bios. When I reverted to the USB 2,0 port and micro usb 2.0 on the Zalman VE-300 external drive installation was fast and went through without a hitch.
Thank you.
DEBIAN LINUX with HDMI without TEARS
I search a mini itx motherboard with onboard HDMI or an adjunctive HDMI PCI express (for DW525) that is sure that work under Debian Linux.
I've got a DN2800MT that appear perfect for a system without display but is a pain to run VLC with high definition videos (downloaded the drivers, compiled kernel, but got packages of different version so it end with a black screen).
Every help is really appreciated!
DZ68BC Bios: What version do I need to be on?
I think I made a mistake by upgrading my BIOS from 0027? I upgraded to 0039 and got no post, or wouldn't go past code 45. Somehow I managed to get to 0035 and now I am having BSOD's. Can someone help me figure this out?

Intel Desktop Board cannot find GPU in PCIe slot--please help
Board is D945GTP D945PLM, powered by a 550 watt PSU, which was tested with a voltmeter and is working correctly as far as I can tell.
CPU is a Pentium 4, and 2 gb of DDR2 RAM. Windows 7 x64.
The system runs fine with or without the video card--no issues anywhere. The onboard graphics function perfectly. Windows is 100% up to date.
I cannot, for the life of me, get the motherboard to recognize the graphics card in the PCIe slot. The card is a ATI Twin Frozr II that was tested in my roommate's computer and works perfectly. I've installed all the drivers for the card, along with with the Intel "ALL OS" chipset drivers (thought for sure it would work after that) but still nothing.
When I right click "Display drivers" and press "scan for hardware changes", Windows attempts to install the IPMI and PCI drivers but fails. The board does have PCI slots, so do I need to the PCI drivers? I'm not sure, and was hoping someone could point me in the right direction. Do I need to update the BIOS?
Please help--I'm a college student that's fairly poor. Any and all input will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks guys.
Adam
0064 BIOS will not install, 0063 BIOS in currently installed
I am running 0063 BIOS in my DZ77GA-70K and I downloaded and attempted to install the 0064 BIOS revision that was released this month. After the BIOS flash, the message says "successful", but the BIOS is still at the previous 0063 version. I've tried this through Windows 7 and from a thumb drive and the results are the same. I have flashed the BIOS before and have not had a problem. What's going on?
Password forgotten for Windows , changed bios settings
Hi, I changed a bios setting...I added a bios password and can remember it. Thats ok, I can get into the bios. But I changed a bios security setting to View Only.
I also added a Windows 7 password and have forgotten it. I did not make a password floppy disk. How do I reset the computer to clear the Windows7 passsword? I tried clearing the CMOS but the passwords did not clear.
Now, written on the black screen is,
"Enter password to unlock the system" ...3 lines are reading the same words...
Password check failed.
Please refer to the Product Guide at Http://support.intel.com/support/motherboards/desktop/
Fatal Error...System halted.
I get passed this message into the bios using the password, it is only the Windows7 password I forgot and can not enter Windows operating system.
DZ77GA-70K: new Bios on the way?
It seems that some of my problems with a DZ77GA-70K may be related to the Bios (currently using 0061). Since Intel already released many Bios versions for this board I'm wondering which of them is known to be the most reliable one? And furthermore: when will the next version be released? TIA!
DQ77MK problem with RAID Controllers?
Hi,
I tried to setup a MegaRAID SAS 9265-8i controller on a new DQ77MK Board.
The problem is that I cannot enter the configuration screen (Ctrl-R) and the Controller does not show up as boot device.
I noticed the following:
1. The Main Bios Screen with the Blue White Background (and Press F2 to enter BIOS etc) is shown a lot longer since i plugged in the RAID Controller.
2. Then the RAID Controller messages are shown and the controller does react to the Ctrl-R press by showing "Please Wait..." but then the PC stops responding (still showing the blinking cursor). Alt-Ctrl-Del does not reset it. I have to use the reset button.
3. If I do not try to go into the RAID Controller configuration screen then the Main Bios screen (blue/white as above) flashes again briefly and then tries to boot the configured boot devices (the RAID Controller is not a shown / known boot device).
I tried to set some BIOS options such as "Boot Display Options"->"Expansion Card Text" set to "Enable" (as well as the default "Disable" and the "Hide All") and also tried with and without UEFI enabled but saw no change.
I do not have a RAID array configured at the moment so i do not know if it would try to boot from it but simply does not show the controller in the BIOS.
I am using the integrated Graphics of the I7-3770 that I am using.
Can someone please try a raid controller on this board and let me know if it works? (Shows up in BIOS and Can enter Configuration Screen)
Thanks & best regards!
Edit:
I now also tried a PERC 6/i Raid Controller. I can also not get into the controller configuration screen (hangs as with the other). Notable difference is that after power on it immediately shows the controller messages (firmware initializing etc) and then goes to the bios screen.
DX79SI + USB3.0 device from Cypress
Hi all,
we've got problems when connecting a Cypress USB 3.0 based device. The enumeration is broken when connecting a device. Thus it will not be recognized by the MB. When adding an external HUB between the device and the MB everything works.
Cypress told us, that this problem is 'Spread Spectrum' related due to shifting the PCI-clock.
Any thoughts?
Regards,
Franz

There is a "Secure Boot" tab in BIOS, where you can turn on and edit "Secure Boot" for Windows 8 and other OS's.
There is now a "Legacy Boot" option below "UEFI Boot" that you can use to turn on/off traditional BIOS emulation. But.....
WARNING: DO NOT TURN OFF / UNTICK THE LEGACY BOOT OPTION.
I unticked "Legacy Boot" and ticked only "UEFI Boot" but my PC did not want to boot.
There was no video on screen and i heard 2 beeps followed by a pause and then another 2 beeps, which means video card error.
I had to hold down power button for 3 seconds and release it, so i could get back into BIOS settings.
When i turned on "Legacy Boot" again, it worked fine.
Reset BIOS to defaults before upgrading.
DZ77GA-70K and Secure Boot
Has anyone been able to get Secure Boot to work with DZ77GA-70K?
Finally managed to get UEFI to work after updating the BIOS on my GTX660 TI. Everything working except Secure Boot. Did I need to do Secure Boot when I installed Windows 8? It was my understanding I could enable after install.
I am also running the latest 0061 BIOS for the DZ77GA-70K. I can go to secure boot and enable it in BIOS screen, but when i log into windows and check using: msinfo32 i see that Secure Boot is off
Were you able to get it to work dislikeyou?
Windows 7 Won't Boot
I just installed a DH77DF motherboard into a case that had an ASROCK350 in it before. I am trying not to have to rebuild Windows, but the system won't boot even with video and network in a "degraded" mode so that I can install the Intel drivers.
I can get the Windows Recovery tools to boot but they are not helpful in getting the drivers installed, either.
Can someone help?
DH77DF HD Boot Issue
Hi All,
I could use a little assistance with BIOS options for HD boot. I have built a NAS Server with my DH77DF motherboard. I'm using an OZC 120GB SSD drive connected on SATA P0 and three WD Caviar drives on P1-3. I set the motherboard to boot off of the OZC. POST's fine, OK. I loaded VMWare ESXi 5.1 and everything loaded fine. After the initial ESX load I went to reboot and received a no boot OS found error. I grabbed a Linux live CD and ran GParted on the OZC and sure enough the OS and all drives were there. The drive was also marked as boot so I restarted the server and selected the boot menu in the BIOS. After pointing it to the OZC it fired right up, no problem. What the heck? I tried reloading it just in case, but same results. Not quite sure why the motherboard does not see the OZC as a boot drive. Is there something in the BIOS I am missing with the drives? Any help would be appreciated!
