USB 3.0 "This Device Can Perform Faster"

Hi,

Got a little 'nuisance value' problem that I can't seem to resolve.

I have an Intel DH67VR main board (with i5 2500 Sandybridge CPU, Win7 64Bit Pro SP1)

When I plug in a USB 3.0 device, I get a pop up message: "This Device Can Perform Faster if you plug it into a USB 3.0 port"

Except it is a USB 3.0 device, in either of the 2 USB 3.0 ports at the back. I still get the message, and the memory stick and portable drive do work at USB 2.0 speed. I've tried updating the Renesas drivers, chipset drivers and BIOS. USB 3.0 is enabled in the BIOS setup.

I've tried both devices on my other ASUS Z68 board, no problem.

Any thoughts?

I have a Xeon E3-1220lv2 CPU and i'm looking for an itx MB to pair it with.

When i look at the CPU compatible list of the DH77DF i do see a whole range of xeon CPU's including the E3-1220l but not the E3-1220lv2.

Can someone confirm whether this CPU will work on this MB or not?

Hi!

The driver check for my board DZ77RE-75K (Windows 8) shows me a newer LAN driver:

currently installed: 12.2.46.0

available: 12.4.39.0

The link points me to http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?DwnldID=22491 which I have already installed. I've tried to reinstall, but still same message about newer LAN driver.

Any hint, how I can get the mentioned driver?

Thank you!

Jens

Windows won't boot with new Gigabyte HD7950

Hello,

I installed a new HD 7950 and windows won't boot; it gets stuck at the BIOS options screen. The board gives me an E6 code which is "Started connecting drivers." Thus far, I have tried uninstalling all Nvidia drivers with my GTX 470 plugged in then downloaded Catalyst Control (and I think the latest AMD drivers). Reinstalled the HD 7950 and the system still freezes at the BIOS screen. When I reinstall the GTX 470, everything works fine. Any suggestions?

I search a mini itx motherboard with onboard HDMI or an adjunctive HDMI PCI express (for DW525) that is sure that work under Debian Linux.

I've got a DN2800MT that appear perfect for a system without display but is a pain to run VLC with high definition videos (downloaded the drivers, compiled kernel, but got packages of different version so it end with a black screen).

Every help is really appreciated!

DG33FB PCIe x 16 - can a SAS card be used in this?

Hi,

I have acquired this motherboard, and have tested it with a windows install successfullly. Also updated the BIOS to the latest version.

The intention was to install a SAS card (LSI 1068e      LSI SAS1068E) which has been tested in a newer machine recently. When it's installed, the system does not boot at all, not into BIOS or the SAS card BIOS.

I suspect this is because the PCIe x 16 interface is only for video cards, but don't know for sure. Please help.

Regards,

Martin

Edit: I tried pinging the network card after adding the SAS card in case the system had booted without any screen activity, but there was no reply so it is definitely not reaching the bios

Hello! I just installed the latest version of Intel Rapid Storage technology and my PC doesn't boot anymore. I have an MSI Z68A-GD65 (G3) motherboard, an SSD ADATA S510 120GB and a HDD Samsung Spinpoint F3. I have Windows 7 64-bit installed on the SSD. The SATA mode is set to AHCI. I have the latest firmware installed for my SSD. Everything worked perfectly until I installed the Intel RST drivers, because before I used the Windows drivers. What should I do now??? I don't want to reinstall Windows.

dq77mk could not recognize the Samsung 840 Pro 256GB SSD when rebooting

Hi,

Has anyone run into the issue of rebooting Intel dq77mk with Samsung 840 Pro 256GB  SSD (MZ-7PD256BW) as the boot disk? The Win8 system can be booted from cold start. But when the system is rebooted without fully powered off, the Samsung840Pro256GB SSD could not be recognized as the boot disk, the system could not reboot.

The dq77mk board was updated with BIOS 0057, and Samsung SSD was updated with the latest firmware released on 12/13/2013 from

http://www.samsung.com/us/support/owners/product/MZ-7PD256BW

Appreciate if anyone can share the experience on this.

Thank you.

Hi,

I am intending to buy this motherboard Intel Desktop Motherboard LGA1155 DDR3 1600 ATX - BOXDZ77GA-70K

from Amazon but I am not sure which version it is according the "Intel Product Change Notification 111509 - 01".

The old with the USB problem is G39009-401 and the new modified board is G39009-500.

I contacted Amazon and themselves don't know.

How can I make sure it is the new before buying.

Are all the boards sold in 2013 the new ones or not.

Anyone.

Thanks.

Sahm

Can't start DG45ID after set memory timings to manual (800MHz)

Hello, I have a problem with my new DG45ID.

A few days ago i set the timings in the BIOS to manual 800Mhz and since then

the PC starts only for 2 seconds, shut down, 5-10 sec. later it starts again,

that restarting won't stopp until i remove the power cord.

I also removed the BIOS-Battery for over 30 hours and tried it again, but still the same problem.

When i put an other RAM (533MHz) into a slot, the Computer starts but beep 3 times (no memory installed).

I cannot do the BIOS recovery or something else.

Is there another way to reset the BIOS or should i send it back to the reseller?

Greetings from Austria (and sorry for my bad English)

DH77DF HD Boot Issue

Hi All,

I could use a little assistance with BIOS options for HD boot. I have built a NAS Server with my DH77DF motherboard. I'm using an OZC 120GB SSD drive connected on SATA P0 and three WD Caviar drives on P1-3. I set the motherboard to boot off of the OZC. POST's fine, OK. I loaded VMWare ESXi 5.1 and everything loaded fine. After the initial ESX load I went to reboot and received a no boot OS found error. I grabbed a Linux live CD and ran GParted on the OZC and sure enough the OS and all drives were there. The drive was also marked as boot so I restarted the server and selected the boot menu in the BIOS. After pointing it to the OZC it fired right up, no problem. What the heck? I tried reloading it just in case, but same results. Not quite sure why the motherboard does not see the OZC as a boot drive. Is there something in the BIOS I am missing with the drives? Any help would be appreciated!

DZ77GA-70K USB 3 stopped functioning

After a windows 7 blue screen shut down my USB 3 is no longer operable.  I uninstalled and tried reinstalling the driver but I get an error that my computer does not meet the requirements for installing the driver.  This leads me to believe the USB 3 is fried.  What is the best way to get to support for this problem.  Is there a support chat or do I need to wait until Monday to call.

Thanks for the help,

John Marrocco

DP67BG no boot - POST code 1E

$

CPU: Core i5-3570

Video: Gigabyte GeForce GTX 650 2GB

RAM: Kingston 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600

PSU: Raidmax RX-530SS

When I hit the power button, the board lights up, the fans all spin, the LCD on the board shows code 1E (or perhaps IE). Monitor shows No Signal. There are no beeps from the on-board speaker. After about 10 seconds, the system spontaneously restarts. And it keeps going in a continuous loop.

I have tried a different monitor and different video card. No change.

I have tried with various other components unplugged. No change.

I tried moving jumper J1 to pins 2-3 to boot in BIOS config mode. This made a small change; the LCD on the board shows code 31 (which it's supposed to in BIOS config mode), and the system no longer spontaneously restarts. But there is still no signal to the monitor, and there are no beeps from the on-board speaker.

I'm now looking at the possibility of a bad CPU, or an incompatible CPU. Of course, I don;t have any spares lying around to swap out.

I'm at my wit's end! Someone please give me a clue here, before I go completely bonkers.

Intel G35 Express driver stopped responding - Windows 7, DG35EC desktop board

$

Recently upgraded our machines to Win 7 32-bit.  Four of our computers with the DG35EC desktop board and G35 Express onboard video are consistently crashing.  The screen goes black, then comes back on with a message, "Display driver stopped responding, and has recovered" or something to that effect.  Most often, the computer then goes to a blue screen and soon reboots itself.

These computers are using the latest Intel BIOS for this motherboard, and the problem actually occurs worst when I have the most recent Intel Video driver installed (15.12.75.4.1930).  When I roll back to the driver from May 2009, the problem occurs less frequently, but is still common.

Has anyone got any ideas?  Are there any plans to update this driver?  These computers worked just fine with Windows XP.  We don't use graphics intense software, and the crashes happen with normal usage of Explorer, usually within 10 minutes of booting.

Thanks for any insights...
