Shortly (within seconds) after the computer enters sleep state, by Windows power management or manually, it automatically wakes up. It does not fully wake up as no signal is sent to the monitor, yet it is still a problem as the computer changes power state frequently (between sleep and partial wake). Anybody experience same/similar issue?

CPU fan G630 on DH67GD
Hello,
I got my motherboard two weeks ago ; the fan is the one shipped with the processor. At the beginning it started up silently ; now, during the POST, the CPU fan is speeding up to maximum for an instant, the slows down to normal.
Has anyone got the same problem ?

Intel Desktop Board DH77KC USB Drive Boot Problems
Hello Intel Community,
I'm encountering a problem I've never encountered before, and I've looked high and low for a solution with little success and it's an annoying enough of a problem now where I was hoping someone could suggest something I might have overlooked. Upon start-up of my computer, if I have ANY USB media drives plugged in (such a flash drives, external HDDs, etc), the Intel splash will come up and then my computer will proceed to shut down and reboot. Afterwards it will show the Intel splash for a second and then say there was a post boot error and if I want to enter setup or retry booting. This will continue to happen until I unplug all of my USB media devices (I can have my USB wireless keyboard and mouse dongle plugged in, no problem). The only way I can circumvent it (and inevitably boot anything from USB) is to wait until AFTER the Intel chime starts playing before plugging in anything. After that, everything's kosher, no problems whatsoever. This is problematic when I remote into my computer and need to restart the machine; I'll never be able to get back into it if I have my USB hard drives plugged in. Does anyone have any suggestions? I'll give you an overview of my build:
700W Power Supply
NVIDIA GTX 670
Intel Core i7-3770K

Windows 8 Professional (x64)

DG31PR with 4 GB memory, audio is not detected by OS
Hi,
I have the following configuration on my desktop.
Processor : Intel Core 2 Duo,
Desktop Board : Intel Desktop Board DG31PR
Memory : 2 GB, Transend DDR2 667 Mhz
OS : Windows 8 Pro 32 bit
Once I added one more RAM stick with same configuration in another slot, I see in BIOS memory is 4 GB, and also in OS memory is 4 GB but I see my OS doesn't recognise any audio driver, I see a message "No Audio Device Installed". Once I remove any one RAM stick, the OS now works find with the audio. I have not yet updated BIOS, as I don't see any update version supports Windows 8 Pro.
So could any one please tell me that how can I resolve this issue, if BIOS update is the option then should I go with the latest update available, even if it's not mentioned Windows 8.

dh67clb3 hangs on boot after install rst 11.7.0.1013
Installing RST 11.7.0.1013 seems to go fine, but after rebooting it hangs on the windows logo. I've rolled back to 10.6.0.1002 which lets the computer boot.
Any ideas why the newer driver causes this problem? How do I fix it?
Thanks.
DH55HC Network Adapter will not connect at 1Gbps
I have a DH55HC Desktop Board and I cannot get the 825578DC Gigabit Network Connection to connect to my LAN at anything higher than 100Mbps. I have checked all the cables and ports on my switch and had another PC connect to the switch at 1Gbps. I have the latest driver for the Ethernet Controller installed (11.16.87.0) and the latest version of Intel PROSet installed (18.0.1).
Has anyone else had this problem, and if so, what did you do to resolve it?
Which desktop boards support SATA / ATA / HDD Passwords?
Does anyone know which desktop boards actually support HDD passwords for use with Intel 520 SSD?
It seems like Intel themselves doesn't even know.
I've figured out that DQ67* and some of DZ77* support ATA security but are there any others and which ones in the DZ77* range does support it for sure?

DH61DL: BIOS shows "DH61BE" after update; PCIe/USB3 without function
After updating the BIOS of a DH61DL from version 0046 to 0099 and then from 0099 to 0109 the BIOS screen shows "DH61BE" in the top line. I guess, the update utility has indeed misrecognized the board and installed the wrong version, because now there are some problems:
- The network card in the PCIe slot is no longer recognized by the OS (W7); the BIOS says "Not Populated", but nevertheless shows vendor and device ID in the next line.
- The USB3 ports are missing, the BIOS graphic shows only "*" instead of numbers.
Also the number allocation of the USB2 ports is incorrect and an ESATA port is shown.
I tried to downgrade at least back to version 0099, but all available methods failed; installing version 0109 again brings no changes.
How can i get this board to work correctly again?;
Problems with an Intel i7 990x & Intel DX58OG computer
Hello everyone,
I would be really grateful if anyone could help. Here is the problem: I got 6 sticks of RAM and every each and one of those fails memory stress test by Intel Extreme Utility, tested one-by-one in 3 different slots of my motherboard (unfortunately, I couldn't manage to test 3 other, because I had no start and beeps when I used them). Which means my PC completely freezes.
Why this bothers me? Well, when I launch high-load processes like simulations and 3D-related calculations same thing happens: my system freezes after some time, which means cursor not moving and no update on the screen at all. You can also hear the processor fan goes full load the very moment. It can be couple minutes since the calcultion starts as well as couple hours.
I get best results (meaning just longest time with no freeze) when I run my RAM at XMP-1600 profile at 1600Mhz and 1.65V. But I literally tried everything, running at 1333Mhz Automatic profile, as well las runnning at 1066Mhz Manual profile, as well as runnning 1.5V / 1.525V voltage with different frequency variations. I also tried switching on and off different random BIOS parameters which I'm not event sure about.
Processor temps during the stress test are about 30-40 °C and around 50-60°C during calculations.
So basically, really bad situation. Is it possible that I have all 6 sticks corrupt (they are 2 seperately bought 12Gb packs)? Or is it possible my motherboard is corrupt (which I read on one internet case, the guy replaced his Intel DX58OG with another one and it worked)? I'm really hoping it is me not understanding something fundamental behind numbers and settings.
Please help. Thank you very much.
My full computer specs are:
Intel i7 990x (no overclock)
Intel DX58OG (BIOS updated)
24Gb RAM (2 x Kingston KHX1600C9D3K3/12GX = 6 sticks each 4Gb)
Nvidia Quadro 2000
Cooler Master V6
PSU 750W
Intel DH77DF mSata 6 Gbps capabilities
Hi,
I'm about to build a mini ITX Server using a DH77DF MB with an i7 3770.
I'm gonna be using the 2 x Sata 6 Gbps ports to host a RAID 0 array (HDDs) and the 2 x Sata 3 Gbps
for a RAID 1 (also HDDs), so there will be no Sata connector left. Thus, I will need to use the mSata
port to put one of your new 525 SSD which will serve as a VM datastore.
So, here are my questions :
1) I understand that the mSata port uses an adapter to be fitted in the PCIe slot. So, in other
words, if I want to use mSata at all, I can say good bye to the PCIe 16x slot, is that correct ?
2) Now, speed-wise, from what I gathered, mSata does handle Sata 3 speeds but is ultimately handled
by the H77 Sata controller which only supports 2 drives in Sata 3 / 6 Gbps mode.
So, which disks will have priority for Sata 3 speed in that case (2xSata3 + mSata connected) ?
I'm guessing not the mSata...
3) If so, will I be able to set the Sata 3 ports to run at Sata 2 speed so that only the mSata runs
@6Gbps and the other four HDDs @3Gbps (as Sata 3 is really not needed for HDDs) ?
Best regards
DH77EB - Any resolution for PCIe-recognition problem?
I have a new DH77EB-Board and one PCIe-Card, a TechnoTrend TT-Premium S2-6400 TWIN HD. It's for use with vdr as an SAT-Receiver. The problem is that the board dosen't recognize the PCIe-card. In another board the card ist recognized and the drivers works correctly with the card. Another PCIe-Card, an Adaptec SCSI-controler, will be recognized in the DH77EB. Result is: The Board and the PCIe-Card are allright, but don't work together.
I have tested the three avaible BIOS-Versions 53, 62 and 71 - but no change in recognition. I have changed the power supply - no change. I have tested all PCIe-slots - no change.
For testing I'd like to change the PCIe-settings - but where? Other Board allow to change the PCIe-settings. At first I thougt that I don't need those things because Intel is one of the inventor of PCIe. I had an live-chat with Intel ... the result was: That can be ... ,jxyn<djkshklhdflksajhd.
Has anybody a new BIOS-Version? Or any idea for tuning the PCIe-timing?
An contact to an Intel-developer could help because there is no way to contact.
Intel DH77EB DTV Cards or lack off.
Hi All,
I though I would start a list of cards that don't work and hopefully find a dual TV card that actually does in this MB.
Is not recognised in any PCI-E slots -
- Compro E750 2 x DVB-T
- Saber HB-220 2 x DVB-T
- Avermedia Satellite Trinity A707AC, 1 x DVB-T, 1 x DVB-S
Works in all Slots -
- Hauppauge HVR 3300, 1 x DVB-T, 1 x DVB-S
I am trying to find a late revision Hauppauge 2200 which I have read elswhere works.
Please update if you personally tested another card.
Thanks,

DH77DF addon PCIe TV cards
Hi,
got a new DH77DF and it refuses to recognize 2 of 3 PCIe TV DVB-S2 card in its PCIe slot.
This cards even don't show in the bios where you can check which slot is populated. This board is a Mini-ITX so i have only one slot to try.
I tried:
- TBS DVB-S2 6922 -> NOT recognized in PCIe slot
- TEVII DVB-S2 S470 -> NOT recognized in PCIe slot
- DVBSky DVB-S2 S950 -> recognized in PCIe slot
My intention was to get the TBS card running, i only tried the other for testing.
I have several other boards from Asus were ALL cards are recognized well.
I am quite disapointed by Intel again, cause it is my second time i got a Intel board and their boards are mainly causeing trouble.
Of course i could buy another board, but the DH77DF is the only S1155 board on the market with a HTPC header for CEC devices.
I also tried to upgrade to latest bios, but this has the bad effect that linux isn't booting anymore, at least in UEFI mode (which was no problem with the original first bios version). Anyway the bios upgrade didn't change the fact that the TBS DVB card wasn't recognized.
Any idea?
Problems with DX79SI
Hello everybody,
I have just assembled a new computer and used DX79SI and a 3930K processor, with 32GB Patriot 1333 memory and a GTX680 video card. All seemed fine until I have tried to install Windows 7. The installation loads the first screen until the end of the bar and when it goes to the next screen it shows the image and 1 second after it the system restarts. It has happened with any OS I have tried from XP to Win7, Vista, even SuSE or Ubuntu, it starts the installation and suddenly rests. I am using a Corsair H100 cooler, a Seventeam ST-550P-AG power supply and a Crucial SSD too. Have tried with an old video card 9600 and it acts the same way. Have looked for something in the Internet but nothing really like what is happening here with my new system. I have discovered that the HOT CPU led blinks red at the moment the system restarts but checking the processor temperature right after the rebook it shows the same 49 celsius that is it showing when the system is on setup fan monitoring screen. What is strange is that the fan RPM is almos all the time in 2133 RPM no matter how much noise you can hear from the cooling system, loud or low.
Someone has an idea of what could be going on? I have tried removing memory sticks and tried with 1, 2 and 4 and same happens. Power supply too weak? I can let the system on setup screen and it stays there working fine.
Thanks,
Sergio
Dual Boot both drive on same controller
Mbo DZ77BH-55K
AA num G39008-400
Trying to dual boot to Win 7 32 bit and Win 7 64 bit on 2 new drives.
If both drives attached to the Grey SATA port the Win7 32 bit first seems to go ok, then when I install the Win& 32bit it is very slow and once it does install several hours or more later it seems it reboots out of the blue and then I get all sort of errors and it wont boot to either version of Windows as it seems to loose all the boot information and I cant even get back to get into the bios unless I “CLEAN” the drives.
If I have 32 bit on the grey SATA controller and the 64 bit on the black controller it seems to work and the 64 bit will install at normal speed.
Is there some rule about what goes into which controller?
Problem is I was wanting to use 2 SATA raid setups. A pair of WD 1 TB server drives on one controller and a pair of Rapture drives on the other controller
Thanks

Extreme Tuning Uility - XTU 4.0 and 3.2. What is the difference?
Clarification please.
What is the difference between XTU 4.0 and 3.2?
The release notes are without specific reference to the OS, motherboard or processor requirements.
Both are listed as Win 7* & Win 8* compatible on the XTU download center page however, if I select Windows 7 (x64) XTU 4.0 is not available.
I was using XTU 4.0 on my DZ77GA-70K with Win7 Pro (x64) system and it worked fine before my system crash.
I am working through the issues of getting the XTU service to start.
Thanks,
