First of all: I have already read this page: Desktop Boards — Updating the BIOS to support 3rd Generation Intel Core Processors
and it did not work for me.
Hello, i recently purchased a i5 3570k, which i wish to use in my DH61BR (socket 1155). In order to do so, i must update my bios and unfortunately, im having issues.
The model is the DH61BR (with a i5 2310), which i couldn't find any information in the intel website, and very little over the internet, so I decided to uptade my bios folowing the H61CR intructions (which was very similar to others H61xx boards).
My starting BIOS was the BEH6110H.86A.0018, which i updated to 20 -> 23 -> 28. All went fine.
When trying to update the 28 to the 34 (coudn't find any other versions betwenn them) i got stuck, and couldn't continue to update. The error message was the same as the one given when we try to update to a "distant" version (18 -> 35, for example).
Does anyone know how to solve this problem? Im using the .EXE files to update the bios, such as this one: BEH6110H.86A.0034.EB.EXE.
Heard something about a transition version of the BIOS, but coudnt find out what it really was, if it helps solving my problem.
Thanks, for your attention.
