I slightly bent one pin on the cpu socket of my Mainboard.

Hello, I just bought a new Mainboard and CPU on Monday.

My new CPU: Intel® Core™ i7-6700, Prozessor FC-LGA4, Skylake

My new Mainboard: MSI H170 GAMING M3, Mainboard

During the installation of my new processor I accidently bent one of the pins on the left-bottom corner of the CPU socket(LGA 1151) on my mainboard.

I tryed to push back the pin into it's original position with a needle. However I couldnt manage to get it a 100% into the previous position. The pin still was moved about 0,3-0,5 millimeters into a different direction like the others in the same row.

Nevertheless I placed the CPU on the socket and assembled the rest of my system. Everything seems to work fine and I also tryed out some CPU-Benchmarks like "Prime95".

On the internet I read that a bent mainboard pin could lead to a short-circuit. Should I replace my mainboard for a new one or would my CPU already be dead by now if something would be terribly wrong? Is there any risk that my hardware could be damaged in long-term use?

Sorry for my english, it's not my native language
