Christmas present gone off the rails. System has last BIOS update from Dec, 2012. CPU i7-2700K 3.5 GHz. Whenever I try to install the new card, sys won't start up through windows, keeps rebooting. Online support from EVGA recommended updating power supply and making sure I have the latests GTX driver. Did both and no change. $300 in-house tech support later to no avail. I assume due to the age of the motherboard this situation cannot be corrected and the EVGA card to be returned.............told my son welcome to the world of computers, take my Martin guitar, it's more fun!
