ECC-RAM on non-ECC motherboard

Hi Intel,

I would like to ask, whether will an ECC memory module work perfectly on a non-ECC motherboard (w/o the ECC functionality, of course).

Example of application:

Motherboard

Intel® Desktop Board DH87RL

RAM

CT25672BD160B - 2GB, 240-pin DIMM , DDR3 PC3-12800 from Crucial.com

The reason of the choice is, that I want to use DDR3L (1.35 V) in the favour of minimizing the amount of emited heat, but cannot find any such non-ECC modules.
