i have hp pavilion 550-150jp with Intel chip-set ipm17-00 rev 1.04. windows 7 is not installing properly on this board. when setup starts keyboard mouse stops working after doing a lot of effort i can manage to run setup , but on completing initial setup when windows start for 1st time on account management screen mouse and keyboard stops working again i have done everything on different forums but nothing helps also added windows 7 USB image create by running utility and also by dism method but problem is same please help me with this.
I had been using HyperX Fury 1866mhz (8x2 GB) RAM on DX58SO (processor xeon X5660) for 8 months. now it is making issue like questions of BIOS hardware change at startup and PC starts hibernating and restarting by itself. Don't know that the problem is coming from RAMS. RAMS are working 100% fine on other PCs. this issue just starting 2 days ago. I didnt make any hardware changes or update this month but just windows update. i am using the latest bios version on the motherboard. I also cleaned the PC (no dust at all), apply new thermal insulation paste on processor and also replaced the CMOS battery.
issue is ----> PC is going into hibernation at randomly in using or idle state and then restart itself. after few attempts it gives "the system bios has detected unsuccessful post attempts, possible causes include recent changes to bios performance options for hardware changes. Press Y to enter BIOS or N to cancel and load attempt to boot with previous settings" this message and then going into loop of on and off and on . . . . (if i press N), while pressing Y, it goes into bios and then boot normally. but the issue remain same.
Looking forward for this issue's fix from generous intel community experts
System specs: (for 8 months)
intel DX58SO
xeon X5660
HyperX Fury 1866ghz (8x2 GB) RAM
320GB Hard disk
nvidia quadro 600 gfx card

I need a bios dump for DZ77RE-75K I will be very grateful.
Hi,
I have a DH77EB Mobo with a Core-i5 that I've been using in my HTPC for the last few years with no issues. A few weeks ago, my LAN port started acting up, intermittently dropping the connection to the router with the only fix to restart the computer. This would usually happen when woken from sleep. I updated the drivers (a few times) with no success. Over the last few weeks, it's gotten worse; now even after a restart it doesn't always come back, sometimes taking a few restarts to get it working. In addition, sometimes if I just leave it for a few minutes it will reinitialize and come back online. I've tried swapping cables and ports on the router - I'm pretty sure it's a hardware issue. Then, a few days ago, I've noticed that when I do a restart, sometimes the computer shuts down and hangs before powering down completely. Same with a full shut down, sometimes it hangs and won't power down all the way. Next, I've noticed that sometimes I'll power it up and while the fans start spinning, it won't POST or Boot. I need to do a hard reset and power it up again and even then sometimes it won't POST/boot. Once it does boot, and if the internet connection is working, then it works great. Any suggestions? To my knowledge there were no hardware or software changes that precipitated the failures. I know sometimes hardware just gets tired... Is it time for a new mobo?
Thanks in advance,
Ben
I have a build with a DP43TF Board in it. A few weeks ago a guy brought it to me with 2 GB Kingston DDR2 800MHz when he was supposed to bring a 4 GB stick. When I noticed that discrepancy in the BIOS and DxDiag, I called and told him to give me the 4 GB stick. We settled a location and I got the 4 GB Stick. It was an identical stick, so similar that the ONLY thing that visually changed was the "2G" to "4G". It was a 4 GB Kingston. The thing is that when I put it in place and tested it, I noticed that BIOS and DxDiag showed 2048 MB. Not to confuse with 4 GB but 2 GB usable, It just showed 2048 MB. I installed CPU-z and it says 2 GB. I'm pretty sure that it is because this board can't hold more than 2 GB on each DIMM Slot, for which i tried to update the BIOS with Express BIOS. Everything went successful but still, 2 GB showing. Are my speculations true? Should i try and switch the 4 GB Stick for 2x2GB? Thank you in advance.
As the title suggests i am looking for an IO shield for the Intel DH67CF ITX board. Does anyone know where i can get one?
What is the latest version of bios that keeps the option c-states avalaible? thanks
which one is more powerful?

I have DQ77KB motherboard that used to work but not anymore.
That is the HW:
Board: Intel BLKDQ77KB Intel Q77 Express LGA1155 DDR3 Thin Mini ITX
CPU: Intel Celeron G540T 2.1 GHz Dual-Core CPU Processor SR05L LGA 1155
CPU Fan: Titan DC-155A915Z/RPW 95mm HTPC Low Profile CPU Cooler Intel LGA 1155 1156
RAM: Crucial 8GB Kit (4GBx2) DDR3 1600 MT/s (PC3 - 12800) CL11 SODIMM
Power Supply: DQ77KB,DH61AG AC DC Adapter 90W 19V for Thin Mini-ITX Motherboards SSA-0901-19
I used to run pfsense(Free BSD) for the past few months, but last night the Free BSD crashed (likely I have a problem with the PCIe SSD) and while trying to recover it the mother stopped booting at some point.
1. I have removed every piece of HW - HHD, PCIe SSD and wifi PCIe
2. No POST
3. When the RAM was removed it beeps
4. The NUM LOCK turns on when I power it on
5. USB drive light doesn't turn on when I plug it
6. Moving the BIOS configuration Jumper to pins 2-3 doesn't make any chnage
7. There are no bent pins in the processor socket
8. I did not remove the CMOS battery - I need guidliness
9. Tested other RAM bot there was no chnage
What should be the next step?
Wanted to update my bios since I keep getting random lock up and freezes, but the site doesn't let me download the drivers when I click on the link. (https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/23825/BIOS-Update-SIX7910J-86A-) There are 3 different versions and none of the link are working for me.
I have: DX79SI w/ Factory Bios from 2012
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Josh

I need a bios dump for DZ77RE-75K I will be very grateful.
I currently have Windows 8.1, and all of my ports aren't working due to that code error I found in the Device Manager(Attachment: uSB3.png). I also have a B150 Gaming M3 MOBO. If I can't solve this USB issue, then I can't upgrade my BIOs because NONE of my USB Ports will work with this issue.
I'll also provide logs of my Intel USB3 installation process.
I would greatly appreciate it if I can get a solution/refer someone to help me asap.
I also tried to update my USB3 drivers... It's updated....
Thank you,
Ace~
